Sale Consignment List
ACOSA / ADMS / IMDR Pedigree Registered Donkeys

  • Donkeys Name: Continental T&T Charisma
  • Consignor: Continental Farm, Wayne Schuetz
  • Buyer: Jay Kerns: Bray'n Hill Farm, Ohio $1600
  • Eye Color: Brown
  • Coat Color: Red
  • Date of Birth: 9/18/2014
  • Sire: MGF T&T, Dark Red, 30"
  • Dam: MGF Venus Cecilia, Red, 30"
  • Special genetic attributes: Reds, spots and wooly in pedigree
  • Continental T&T Charisma has been quite a joy to raise. She was small at birth at 19.5" and we expected her to stay at or below 30". A measurement in April revealed her to be 29 3/4" so I would expect her to mature to 30 1/2 or 31. Not micro but small. Her dam MGF Cecelia is a 30" jennet and her sire is MGF T&T, a 30" dark red jack whose sire is MGF Prime Time, a 30 1/2" black and white spot. So if she is bred to a spot there is a fair possibility she will produce a spot foal but otherwise she is red, red, red in her pedigree.  She has good square set to her legs with smooth blending of her neck down into her body. There is not a lot of extra motion while on the move. If you like small miniature donkeys then here is the one for you.

  • Donkeys Name: #R930 MGF Opaline
  • Consignor: Lazy N Ranch: The Nissen Family
  • Buyer:  Kim & Don Zellers, KZ's Asspiration Acres, New Jersey $650
  • Mature Height: est 33"
  • Eye Color: Brown
  • Coat Color: Brown, grey & white spot
  • Date of Birth: 5/136/2009
  • Sire: Arrow Creek Ace In The Hole
  • Dam: The Elm's Black Opal, black with cross
  • Your chance for some of the last of two great breeding programs - the MGF & ELM’s herd.
  • Her dark spots appear lighter from a distance, but upon close inspection one can see the reason - white hairs mixed in with the dark. We personally describe that as “black roan” & find it to be a very appealing spot coloration. She had a 2016 dark jen foal (will be weaned by sale date & not make the journey to MD) and ultrasounded in foal, bred April-May to Percy Nic, who you can see first hand as he is also selling on this sale.
  • Proven jennet: Had a brown jennet foal in 2016.
